Richard and Bridget Zemlo

The Zemlos are a husband/wife partnership of wood turners, designing bowls, vases, and tops of various woods. Bowls often feature bark edges or natural cracks or knots holes. Vases can be smooth to reveal the flowing grain lines of the wood or left with bark for texture. Bridget is the wood turner who makes the tops that balance and spin so well. They include a string that is wound and pulled to start the top in motion.

Statement: The beauty of wood is celebrated by Bridget and Richard Zemlo in the manner in which they create function yet aesthetically pleasing objects from waste wood from downed or removed trees.

Customization available: Tops available in dark, medium, or light wood, with tapered or squared bottom. Bowls available in a range of sizes from 4" diameter to 14" diameter, with turned rim or natural bark rim.
