Wolf Runner

Wolf Runner, when not touring nationally to Native American PowWows and juried art shows, resides in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, where nature is serious. With nature that includes bears that raid birdfeeders and winter temperatures worth actually complaining about, it seems natural that Wolf Runner's art must involve metal and flame. His art is original designs in handmade sterling silver.

Statement: Wolf Runner's designs began as primarily interpretations of the Native American feather motif, and has gradually evolved to be more fluid, with wires and spheres of silver that an be interpreted as tendrils and berries to allow the feathers to be interpreted as leaves. Semi-precious stone, fossils, and polished shells are often featured as gemstones in his very organic works.
