Laurie Vega

Laurie Vega calls her studio "Old Folks Art" and she works in a variety of media, from acrylic painting, to wood carving to gourd art. She was a hit at our August basket and gourd special showing in Warrenville with her new design that features all-over leaf designs with the spaces between the leaves cut away.

Statement: Believing that life should be an adventure and that one is never too old to learn new things, Vega is continually experimenting with new media and new subject matter. She is also a tireless supporter of the Warrenville gallery, passing out posters and helping out with events.
