Felted Landscapes by Karma Grotelueschen

Karma Grotelueschen was inspired by fiber artist Sheri Lee Butler's felted cat purses to interpret her nature photographs into felt. The background of each is made using traditional hot and cold water felting, with foreground detail added by contemporary needle felting. These unique creations are then displayed in shadowbox frames, with each taking around 25 hours total. Any of Grotelueschen's nature photos can be rendered in this media by special order.
