Cindy Wilkins

Cindy Wilkins specializes locally in personalized plates, crocks and mugs for gifts and special occasions and to commemorate local towns. She has developed several designs exclusive to Prairie Oak Artisans that have botanical themes. Her son Andrew is also a potter, specializing in sculptural works.

Statement: Potter Wilkins uses leaves to print designs, twigs to mold clay for edging, and actual leaves to form molds to make copies to decorate her pottery. Muted colors of greens and browns are her hallmark, as is pottery that reveals the natural color of the clay under clear glazes.
